The Hero’s Mom Is An Executive Of The Demon King Chapter 32

I started preparing dinner early, partly so that Morris, who came all the way to visit, could talk to Shiva at leisure.

So I asked Garon to naturally excuse himself from his seat, leaving him to dismantle and prepare the game that Shiva had killed.

Since both of them were executives that served the Demon King, there could be military content as well. For the sake of confidentiality, it would be best for outsiders not to listen to too much of what they have to say.

As I stood in the kitchen, Shiva and Morris immediately started talking.

Shiva later told me that Morris occasionally looked at me while we were talking.

It seems he was more interested in me, or rather, in how I cook, or possibly at the unfamiliar tools.

I was concentrating on cooking and didn’t notice it at all.

For dinner that day, I made a rich milk stew, potato galette, and caramelized nuts and fruit for dessert.

The dessert put me at ease, as it put Shiva in a better mood.

And I’m afraid of food resentment.

Morris was quite fond of the galette and was eager to know how it was made.

“This is good. It would go well with our ale.”

“Ale? Do you make that at home?”

“Yeah, all my family loves to drink. Each one makes its own homemade ale and fruit wine.”

Homemade ale and fruit wine… that sounds so good.

“I haven’t had a chance to drink alcohol since I came to this world.”

“I see that you like to drink, too. You should come over to my house with Shiva sometime. I will treat you to a drink to thank you for your hard work today.”

“The only thing that matters is the quality of the drink, and I’m sure it’s a good idea to have a beautiful maid like Miho to help you out.”

“Well, I’ll be there with lots of snacks.”

“Can I come too?

“Of course. Garon can come along too. Shiva, you don’t mind, do you?”

“Well then, we’ll come by”

Thus, we ended up visiting the Morris house.

To be honest, I was excited about making a new friend and going out for the first time in a long time.

At the time, I didn’t expect it to turn out like that.
