The Hero’s Mom Is An Executive Of The Demon King Chapter 15
I woke up and found myself in a strange place.
I got out of the bed and looked around.
A drab room with only stone walls and a small table and chairs.
(Where am I?) (We were supposed to be walking through the woods at the campground…)
“Mother, where am I?”
His voice was hoarse.
I was terribly thirsty. I was kind of lazy, too.
“Have you woken?”
A foreign lady who I didn’t know came into the room.
I was very surprised but was relieved that I could understand her Japanese.
“Here you go.”
The sister poured water from the jug into a ceramic cup and handed it to me gently.
I gulped it down and drank it in one go.
I’d never tasted water like this before. (TN: Holy water messenger flashbacks)
I finished my drink and was about to return the cup when my stomach grumbled loudly.
I put my hand to my stomach, but the noise didn’t stop.
(What’s this? Not cool. (Soooooo embarrassing)
“I’ll be right back with your food. Please wait for a moment.”
As the sister left the room, I got out of bed and looked out the window.
I knew it was an unfamiliar place. I saw a town that reminded me of some foreign country, but not Japan.
(I wonder if that thing in the distance is called a castle wall? (I feel like I’m on a movie set.)
A short while later, the lady from earlier brought me soup on a wooden tray with vegetables and beans.
“Please have it”
I was very hungry, but the sister was watching me, so I ate slowly and with good manners.
It was seasoned only with thin salt and I’m sorry, but I didn’t think it was very good. (TN: Insta-Ramen water.. nvm Ramen water would probably taste better)
(I’d love to drink my mom’s miso soup.
I wonder where we are? (Mom, where did she go?)
“Thank you for the meal. Excuse me but where am I?”
“Wasn’t my mom with you?”
The sister looked a little troubled by my question.
“I can’t tell you anything. However, I was ordered to take care of you.
I’m sure the Preist will give you a more detailed explanation later on.”
With that, the older sister walked out of the room with her tray.
An unknown city, a foreigner, but an older sister who speaks Japanese, a priestess.
(Could this be… maybe…?)
