S Rank Adventurer Deported For Innocent Charges Chapter 57

For now, Alise sent a letter to her relatives, which was addressed to her sister.

She didn’t know if they would reply though.

And today she got a call from the GuildMaster. It probably was another troublesome matter

She rolled up the sleeves of her usual coat and left the mansion.

Alise then headed to the guild headquarters, which was a few minutes’ walk away.

“Same as usual”

The guild always had a bleak feel to it.

“I’m here by the request of the guild master.”

She called out to the receptionist

“You must be Alise. We’ve been expecting you”

With that, she was ushered into the guild master’s office by the receptionist.

“Oh, I’ve been waiting for you. Well, have a seat.”

Once inside, Gilmas prompted her to sit down.

“Excuse me,”

Alise sat down on the sofa.

Gilmas also sat down in front of her.

“Sorry for calling you out on such short notice,”

“Don’t worry, it’s business as usual.”

“Was that sarcasm?”

Gilmas chuckled.

“No, I’m just stating a fact.”

“Well, it’s always sudden, you’re not wrong.”

Gilmas said.

“So, how can I help you today?”

“Oh, yeah. Let’s get right to it, shall we?”

Gilmas placed a sheet of paper in front of Arise.

“What’s this?”

“I’ll be blunt. I need you to go to the labyrinth city.

Labyrinth City, The city where the labyrinth of the King of Merus is gathered.

It is a place where all adventurers use to level up and train.

“They want you to go there.”

That’s also sudden.

“What do you mean?”

Alise picked up the material on the table and asked.

“Well, it’s just as it says in the summary.”

“The first thing you’ll notice is that a new labyrinth has been discovered in the labyrinth city. And you seemed like the best person to help us with the investigations”

“I see. ……”

New labyrinths were being created more and more in the labyrinth city.

They were created by the magic of nature.

If it was a labyrinth of a low rank, it would be a request of about B rank.

But the request came to Arise on purpose.

She had a rough idea of what to expect.

“I’m sure this labyrinth is pretty high rank… isn’t it?”

“Yeah, you’re right. The magic density in that labyrinth is unparalleled, and it seems that no other adventurer is strong enough to enter it.”

“Again, I’m going to throw the whole messy thing to Alise.”

“How much is the reward?”

“Ten pieces of white gold.”

Ten platinum coins were quite a high reward.

She had a feeling that there was something more to it than what was on the surface, however, she couldn’t say no.

“I don’t know what to say. I’ll take it.”

Alise agreed to the request.

“Oh, thank you.”

It would take a day to get to the labyrinth city, no matter how fast she went.

She had to prepare quite well before she left. Also, this request might be a bit too tough to handle alone.
