S Rank Adventurer Deported For Innocent Charges Chapter 39
Alise was approached by the guild’s receptionist.
“Alise, may I have a moment?”
“Yes, how can I help you?”
“The Guild Master would like to see you, please.”
The fact that he wanted to see her meant he would probably ask for a favour.
”Well, that’s fine.”
“Thank you. Now, please follow me.”
She had a faint, unpleasant feeling, but she couldn’t refuse the Guild Master’s call.
Alise followed the receptionist.
”I’ve brought Alise-sama here.
The receptionist called out as she knocked.
A reply came from the back of the room
“Oh, you’re here. Well, have a seat.”
Gilmas urged Alise to the sofa.
“You can go now, thank you”
“Yes, excuse me.”
The receptionist left the Guildmaster’s office.
“So, what can I do for you this time?”
Alise sat down on the sofa.
“Hmm, I thought I’d ask you to do this one favour for me this time.”
Gilmas sat down in front of Alise and placed two documents in front of her.
“Let me have a look,”
Alise looked through the documents that Gilmas placed in front of her.
”Is this new adventurer training? ……
“Yeah, it’s a new program for new adventurers.”
“You’re not asking me to be a part of this, are you?”
Alise made eye contact with Gilmas.
“No way, definitely not as a participant. It’s a job I want you to do”
Saying that, Gilmas pointed to another document.
”Recruiting new adventurer training instructors?”
“Yeah, new adventurers are born every day, but we’re short on mentors. Could you do it?”
Well, she could understand what the Guild Master was trying to say.
If you’re as good as Alise, and yet you’re also an S-ranked certified adventurer, you’d be a perfect instructor.
”How long will I be doing this?”
“We’re planning for a week.”
The idea was to learn the basic knowledge, physical strength, and combat skills to make it as an adventurer during that week.
“So, will you do it?”
“Well, that’s fine. I’m sure you’d find a way to force this on me anyway, even if I said no.”
This Guild Master.
It was obvious to me that he was going to go that far.
Really, I think he’s just an old man who can’t eat.
“I’m not going to answer that question.”
Gilmas chuckled as he said this.
”For now, I’ll take this document.”
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
Alise folded the material into three parts and tucked it away in the inside pocket of her coat.
“Is that all for today?”
“Yeah, that’s about it”
“Okay. Then I’ll be off.”
Alise stood up to leave
“Oh, there’s been some weird attacks around me lately, so I’m just going to give you a heads up.”
“Yeah, I know. I know its worrying but please be careful”
Alise left the Guildmaster’s office.
