S rank Adventurer Deported for Innocent Charges Chapter 12
In the Kingdom of Mullen, her beloved sword had been confiscated, and from there she had fought with her bare hands and her prized blonde vertical rolls, but she felt that there was a limit to what she could do.
Alise had heard from the Guild Master about the general location of the place, so without hesitation, she found a sign for a weapon shop, with a sword and shield painted on it.
Alise pushed open the thick door and was greeted by a man who appeared to be the owner of the store.
‘It’s rare to see a maiden like you in her! If you find anything you’re looking for, give me a shout.
“Thank you. May I have a look around the store?”
“Yeah, sure. You can pick it up if you want.”
Alise was looking around the store.
There was a wide variety of weapons on display, including swords, daggers, greatswords, axes, spears, and shields.
Among them, Alise was looking at the shelves lined with one-handed swords.
‘Do you want a one-handed sword, young lady?’
“Yes, I was hoping to find something similar to the one I was using before.”
“Oh, well, that’s good news. I have something in the back.”
After saying this, the owner went into the back and came out with a sword in his hand.
“It’s was a bit of a rare find.
It was a wine-red, single-edged sword with the same scabbard as Alise’s coat.
In other words, it was a sword that looked like a Japanese sword. ( TN: So Katana right?)
The blade was jet black.
”Indeed, it’s an unusual sword. Can I feel it in my hand?”
The proprietor let Alise hold the, well, Japanese sword.
‘It’s light ……’
Alise was impressed with its lightness and ease of swinging.
I’m sure the eastern weaponsmiths craft them individually. It’s hard to repair the blade if it breaks, but that’s rarely the case. I can guarantee its sharpness.
“Okay, I’ll take that one”.
If the shop keeper can guarantee it to this extent then I am sure he can’t be wrong.
“How much is it?”
“I’d say three gold pieces, but I’ll settle for two gold pieces.”
Alise took out two gold coins from the inside pocket of her coat and handed them to the shopkeeper.
“I’m the one who should be doing you a favour. I’m Ilk, the owner of this shop.”
Ilk held out his right hand.
‘It’s Alise Bate.
Alise took his hand and shook it.
‘Alise Bate, that’s a name I’ve heard somewhere.”
“See, it’s a common name. Anyway, do you know of a good inn I can stay in around here?
I’m still unfamiliar with this royal capital because I stayed at the Marquis’ house yesterday.”
“What, little girl, you’re from somewhere else?”
“Yes, I arrived just yesterday.”
“Oh, right, then, you go straight out of the store and to the right, on the left side, there’s a sign that says Red Moon. The food is great and the rooms are nice and clean”.
“Thank you. I’ll check it out”.
“All right. Have a good day, okay? You must be quite experienced, young lady.”
“Well, what do you think?”
Alise smiled and inserted the sword she’d bought into her belt and left the weapons store.
‘Turn right, then left, right?’
She walked towards the inn that Ilk, the owner of the weapon shop, had recommended she go to.
